Reminders & Volunteer Roundup: Here are ongoing reminders and the upcoming volunteer opportunities at Lakeridge. 

• Save The Date - Art for Hope, Dec. 20 (Kyra Gupta’s Hope Foundation): In memory and honor of former Lakeridge Lion Kyra Gupta, her family has established the Kyra Gupta Hope Foundation. On Saturday, Dec. 20, they are hosting ART FOR HOPE at the Mercer Island Library. It will be a simple community gathering with free ornament painting and art activities to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. • Winter Enrichment registration is now open: As we head into the holiday break we wanted to announce the before/after-school activities and enrichment programs that will be available at Lakeridge this Winter! You can sign up your child(ren) via the registration links posted on the Enrichment page of our website. Some of these classes tend to fill quickly, so we recommend signing up soon. • Mark Your Calendars for Culture Night - January 22 | 5:30 – 7 pm: Lakeridge Culture Night brings together all of our Lakeridge families to share and celebrate our many cultures. This includes global cultures as well as regional and endemic cultures of the U.S.All are welcome and encouraged to participate. Interested in hosting a booth, sharing food or performing? • Don’t forget Corporate Matching: If you have donated to the Lakeridge PTA ASK annual fundraiser, thank you! If your company provides corporate matching for tax-deductible amounts, please don't forget to turn that in before the end of the year. We are appreciative of the matching funds that come in throughout the year.
  
  
• Yearbook Cover Art Contest - Entries Due Friday, January 9: Calling all artists! We’re looking for a student design for this year’s Lakeridge yearbook cover. 
  • Theme: “Each Lion, Every Day… Happy and Proud”
  • Artwork size: 8.5×11 paper, vertical orientation
  • Entry form: Attach the completed form with parent signature and email, to your student’s submission.
  • Turn in: Submit artwork to the main office
  • Deadline: Friday, January 9

• Don’t forget to order a yearbook! (This form will also ask you to pay school supply and field trip fees, submit ASK donations, etc.)

• Update your family's profile (add your student's teacher)
• Pay for School Supplies & Field Trip Fee (required as these are pre-ordered and provided by Lakeridge)
• Donate to the Lakeridge Ask Campaign
• Purchase your PTA Membership
• Pay the 5th Grade Fee (required)
• Donate to the Lakeridge Library with a Birthday Book
• Purchase a 2025-26 Lakeridge Yearbook
• Purchase Lakeridge Spirit Wear
