All proceeds are invested back to the school. Pledges are entirely optional, and all students can participate fully, with or without sponsors.

2024 - 2025 Science Fair Registration is now OPEN

Please complete the information HERE to register your student for the upcoming 2024-2025 Science Fair (note: registration closes March 21th at 5pm)

The Fair will take place on Thursday, 4:30pm, April 10th at Islander Middle School.

Participating in Lakeridge’s annual science fair is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their curiosity and creativity! Whether you're interested in biology, chemistry, physics, the science fair is a low-pressure way to learn something new and to showcase your ideas and hard work. It is a great way to learn from peers, gain confidence in presenting your findings, and have a lot of fun along the way.

We know that many students are involved in a variety of activities this fall, and we ask that if you participate, you prioritize participation and allow all of the students to show off their hard work and experiments, participate in the egg drop, and spend time checking out the hard work of their peers!

April 10th is right around the corner so gather your materials and join us in making this year's science fair the best one yet!

LAKERIDGE CULTURE NIGHT IS BACK ON!

Culture Night is back on May 8th! Stay Tuned for Updates in the Coming Weeks!

At Lakeridge, we view our families’ culture as our students’ unique, inherited sense

of family identity: values, traditions, heritage, artifacts and more. We absorb a
sense of our culture throughout our lives as we observe and experience the things
that make our families unique: be it our food, the languages we communicate in, the
music we listen to, the stories we share, how we decorate our home, the games we
play, and so much more.

Help Lakeridge share and celebrate our many cultures! This includes any global
cultures, as well as regional and endemic cultures of the United States.
You are invited to share your culture through a number of ways:

● Sign up to host a table

● Sign up to contribute an item to the food section at Culture Night

● Sign up for a cultural performance on our mainstage! (Full) Please reach out to
Sunny at sunny.sun0705@gmail.com if your kid(s) still want to join and perform.

● Attend and check out the many parts of Culture Night, sample delicious foods
important to our Lakeridge families, and get to know your classmates and
neighbors.

Join us for EPIC recess fun!

The Every Person Included (Recess) Club seeks volunteers to help out with small group activities on Wednesdays during recess.

Background: EPIC's goal is to create a fun, inclusive space where all kids can join in and make new friends. The response so far has been, well, epic.

Volunteer need: If you like to have fun... we'd love to have you. Volunteers check in at the front office around 10:30am, then head to the Lakeridge playground to help with first recess (10:45-11 am, grades K-2) and second recess (11:05-11:20 am, grades 3-5)

Thanks for helping us make recess awesome for everyone!
