PTA_header The Lakeridge PTA strives to support and enrich our children’s academic and social education experience through PTA programs and events. The PTA also keeps parents informed through the parent pack and Lions’ Roar newsletter email. Support your school, become a member or volunteer today!

Please remember to pay fees and donate to the Ask!

Your donation has a direct impact on your child’s education at Lakeridge during this school year. Your donation helps fund 17 hours per day of learning and student support services, which would otherwise not be available to our students. In addition, your donation helps fund the many outstanding extra programs and curriculum enhancements that better serve our children. With the opening of Northwood Elementary, our student population will be reduced to more closely align to the building capacity. In order to maintain all the programs and services offered by the PTA, it is extremely important for every family to participate in the Ask Campaign. Donating to the Ask Campaign is your opportunity to make a real difference for your child at Lakeridge!

Volunteers needed for Walkers Club

We’re excited to start our first 5 week session of Walkers Club! Walkers Club is a great alternative activity at lunch recess especially for those looking for something structured to do. We need volunteers to mark completed laps on tally cards, and encourage (and monitor) kids as they participate in this fun activity. This session will run each Tuesday and Thursday during lunch recess (12:30pm to 1:30 pm).  Please consider signing up for one or more days via our Sign Up Genius. For those new to Walkers Club, the students earn a charm for walking two “laps around the school”, and a big foot charm for completing their card. Thanks for your help in making this popular activity a success. If you have any questions, please contact Liz Carson.

Mandatory Yearly Volunteer Training

All volunteers must complete volunteer training every school year. Please visit the Mercer Island School District webpage to complete your volunteer training. You will not be able to volunteer until you complete all the necessary steps.
