Birthday Books

Celebrate your child’s birthday and support the Lakeridge Library!  The Lakeridge PTA, in coordination with the Lakeridge Library, has established a Birthday Book Club that has become a favorite tradition with the students.

How does this work?  During your child’s birthday month (or half-birthday for summer birthdays), your child chooses a brand new book for the library. (Books are selected from a collection that were pre-purchased with donation money). Inside the cover of the book, a commemorative bookplate honors your child’s birthday.  Your child then checks out the book and is the first to enjoy it before it is returned to the library. Once the book is returned, Lakeridge students will enjoy the book for many years to come!

How does one join the Birthday Book Club?

PTA Registration Form: At the beginning of the school year, the Birthday Book Order is incorporated in the Student Fees & Ask Form for your convenience.

Download Birthday Book Club Order Form: print, complete and attach your check payable to the Lakeridge PTA and return it to the Librarian.

You may join the Birthday Book Club at any time, all year long.  The donation for a birthday book is $20.00
